- Account data: Name, email, and profile photo from your Google account when you sign in
- Usage data: Pages visited, vendors viewed, searches performed
- Vendor data: Business name, phone, address, services — when you register as a vendor
- Reviews: Ratings and comments you submit for vendors
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and improve the Lokalii platform
- To display your reviews and ratings publicly
- To save your favourite vendors
- To facilitate communication between users and vendors via WhatsApp
- To verify vendor listings
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. We do not store your Google password — authentication is handled entirely by Google's OAuth system.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in these cases:
- Public reviews: Your name and review text are visible to other users
- Vendor contact: When you choose to contact a vendor, your name is shared via WhatsApp message
- Legal compliance: When required by law or to protect our rights
5. Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser local storage for:
- Authentication session management
- PWA install banner preferences
- Service worker caching for offline performance
We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Request correction of inaccurate information
